What happens when distributed energy works

These are stories from energy companies using Fever Energy to launch energy services to their customers and orchestrate their flexibility portfolio. The results are fewer platforms to manage, increased end-customer trust, and the option to start small then grow.

Varberg Energi onboarded more than 1200 new residential assets within days.

As distributed energy assets grew in Varberg Energi's portfolio, so did their need to offer energy services and handle flexibility.

Varberg Energi became a customer of Fever Energy in 2023, using the platform to optimize a specific part of their distributed energy assets. Over time, Fever Energy grew into their primary platform for operating distributed energy, replacing multiple providers and bringing residential as well as commercial sites together into the same optimization. Varberg Energi also uses Fever Energy to manage their own imbalances.

Today, more assets can participate, including existing installations that would otherwise be difficult to reach. The result is less complexity, fewer moving parts, and room to grow as new opportunities emerge.

“Working with Fever is both commercially rewarding and easy.”

Fever Energy helped Evolta making energy optimization visible, and easier to trust for the homeowner.

Automated optimization only earns a homeowner's trust if they understand it. A battery that charges at an hour the homeowner wouldn't have picked themselves isn't a mistake, it's the optimization considering so much more complexity than just the spot-price. Evolta wanted homeowners to understand that reasoning, not just benefit from it.

Evolta uses Fever Energy's platform to steer home batteries and EVs, and launched a customer-facing app built on the interface Fever View so that every homeowner could see their own plan: today's schedule, the actions taken, and why. After launch, support cases and questions dropped sharply since homeowners no longer needed to ask what was happening because they could see it for themselves.

As a result, Evolta saw increased customer trust and loyalty, and freed up support time for other priorities.

“The optimization can be quite advanced behind the scenes, but for the customer it should feel simple. Fever View, the white label app, helps us show what the system is doing and why, which builds trust and reduces unnecessary questions.”

Fever Energy helped Enequi increase earnings for end-customers without changing their experience or setup.

Enequi had ambitious plans to optimize and aggregate their entire portfolio of distributed energy resources, but needed a platform flexible enough to work with the infrastructure they'd already built.

Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all setup, Enequi took a modular approach to Fever Energy's platform. They chose full API integration with Fever Energy, while keeping their own gateway and connectivity layer in place. On top of that, they use Fever Energy's optimization, covering both behind- and front-of-the-meter services.

Today, Enequi continues to scale on a foundation adapted to their needs, without having to swap out the apps or gateway their teams already rely on. The result is higher earnings for their customers, and steady momentum as their portfolio keeps growing.

“Our customers get 2x the earning now, and none of them had to change a thing. That's the real win, Fever Energy fits into our existing setup instead of asking us to rebuild it.”
